True Sake Success stories are awesome, but sake success stories are the best especially when they come out of the ruins of the Tohoku 9.0 earthquake and massive killer tsunami on March 11 2011. This is a nice piece on an extinct brewery (Iwaki Kotobuki) from the devastated Namie area within Fukushima that is still within the "no-go radiation" zone. So what do you do when you have no brewery but still want to make sake to honor your former hometown? You move to Yamagata and start anew!
