This is a very good introductory sake into the ancient kimoto method for making sake the traditional way. With a creamy nougat, nutty, caramel, and steamed rice nose look for dry, round, and smooth fluid that drinks tight and in control. Hints of maple syrup, vanilla cream, cocoa, and nuts abound, and as the fluid warms you will notice a chocolate body come forth. A really easy to use sake that is good at three temperatures. Round, slippery and with a tickle tail it's a good first time kimoto sake. WORD: Rich-light WINE: Big reds/smooth whites BEER: Belgians FOODS: Very good with grilled and cooked light fare.
