The nose on this seasonally released unpasteurized sake from a brewery that releases a nama for each season is a gentle collection of citrus, yeast, and peach aromas. This year’s version of Haru is a big, fat, fun and frisky raw sake that is plump and racy! Chewy, full-bodied, and smooth this brew doesn’t drink like a typical Junmai Ginjo. It is zesty and lively in the palate and there is an abundance of fresh flavors such as citrus, honey, and honey tea. If you like your wines brash and bold this fresh brew will rock your socks.
