Sake Day - October 6th for the 7th Anniversary
I firmly believe that we make a better product each and every year for Sake Day. This year will be no exception. And of course we will sell out again so please get in early, which saves you $$$, and get your friends to go this year.
What amazes me is when people say that the ticket cost is a little pricey, but then will go and spend the same amount or even more at a restaurant and get 1/3rd of what you get at Sake Day. Where can you go and taste over 100 sakes unlimitedly? Yes, I typed that "unlimitedly" for a reason. You can taste as much as you want and to your heart's desire. At restaurant pricing this could be over $150 per person easily. Plus you get tons of great food, a really fun Okinawan band, and it is all for a wonderful non-profit called the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California.
I don't need to preach to the choir, but for those newbies sitting on the fence this is a great opportunity to learn sake in a super fun environment. Likewise for the out-of-towners there are several hotels literally up the street in Japantown. If you have never experienced Sake Day make this year the year!
Tickets go on sale September 1st at www.sakeday.com and for more information call the store @ 415.355.9555.
