12-12-12 - The Sake Season Begins And Life Ends On 12-21-12
|"The Ancient Mayan calendar speaks of 12-21-2012 as the end of times as we know it, and the beginning of a new cycle of evolution for planet earth, humanity and the cosmos. Mayan elders say that the Ancients were informing the modern world to be ready for a giant transformation for the human race. Interestingly, traditions across the world including Buddhism, Tao, Hopi and Vedic knowledge predict a 'Golden Age' or 'Satyug' in their calendars around the same period. December 2012 is being looked upon as a significant spiritual event and a momentous shift in the collective consciousness of the planet."

That said, 12-12-12 represents the official first day of "Silly Season" - that Holiday jumble we have all come to love and loathe and love and loathe and you get the picture. Chanukah is already kicking! Christmas is just down the road. Kwanza is in there somewhere. Then we polish it off with New Year's Eve and New Years Day. Oh and then let us not forget Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake). Basically it's on people! It's on!
In this regard, we want to remind you to make sake a HUGE part of this holiday Silly Season. Start by gifting sake to co-workers. Give a few bottles for Chanukah. Stuff some stockings with sake. Wrap or don't wrap some bottles for under the tree. Get those sparkling sakes for New Year's Eve. Get a couple 1.8L bottles for New Year's Day. Buy somebody a "Sake of The Month Club" gift for Chinese New Year's, because the Year of the Snake is supposed to be a prosperous one, which is good for business.
Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life. You are alive! You won't be destroyed or even God forbid evolved on the 21st. Now get your sake on and do the holidays proud!
