Sake Archives – KJ Mines The Archives For “Amazing” Articles

Sake Archives January 2018 A

Hello Lovers of Nihonshu!

This month we get the exciting chance to stroll down memory lane in a few different ways! First up is New Year’s resolutions. Is anyone still on the horse? Or did you all give up? We all know how difficult it is to stick to your guns and achieve those long-term goals. Let’s drift to the past and see how well our founder is doing at his own resolutions from 2010:

Sake Resolutions – A Look Back At Sake Resolutions from 2010 (January 2015)

Here is an article showcasing a seductive selection of sake for that lovefest coming up, written by my favorite cohort, Shinsuke! (shhh, don’t tell the others!):
Sake Love – Shin-san Lists His Favorite February “Love Potion” Sakes (February 2016)

According to Chinese zodiac, this is the Year of the Dog. Those of you born in a Dog year are heartfelt, loyal & prudent. Weirdly enough, bad luck reigns when your year occurs again during your lifetime (Watch out, those of you born in 1970, 1982, & 1994!) Make sure to ALWAYS WEAR RED THIS YEAR! That supposedly brings you good fortune in this doggone year. Since I am the Year of the Tiger and none of this scary stuff applies to me, I am happy to share that the best thing to do when you’re sick as a DOG is to stay at home and drink SAKE!

So the morals of the archive stories this month are the following:

1. Get back on the treadmill.
2. Get a date for V-Day and buy them sake. (Year of Dog peeps! Don’t forget to wear red!)
3. Don’t get sick. But if you do, DRINK SAKE!

Bye for now! <3
