Talk about a layered and expressive sake that is rich and solid, but yet very approachable. There are many “omachi” rice fans out there, who feel that this particular rice varietal is exceptionally tasty and dramatic. Count me in! I love Omachi sakes and this is a great starting point if you want to experience a more full and heartier sake that has tons of personality and presence. And guess what? This brewery has graciously answered our request to put this bull in a cup! We felt that this layered Junmai Ginjo would excel in a cup not only from a packaging standpoint but from a flavor standpoint too!
