Tsukasabotan Junmai Daiginjo Genshu "King of Peony"

Junmai Daiginjo Genshu
The nose on this “Genshu” sake is an amazing collection of citrus, peach, melon, mango, and white floral aromas. Wow! What a sake. For a brewery that has been making dry sake since 1603 this is such a masterpiece for those who are blown away by how rice and water can taste like so many fruity flavors and still drinks dry. Simply a masterpiece! Lush, thick, chewy, smooth and incredibly balanced this sake drinks like a dream in your glass. There is a distinctive ripe balance of fruit tones such as grape, blueberry, Mandarin orange, peach, mango, fleshy papaya, and a hint of rock candy and powder sugar flavors.  And for the most incredible act of brewing technique this brew has an alcohol content of 17.5%, which you can’t detect in the least. And that is the essence of balance and harmony. A very romantic sake that is great to gift, because everybody loves it. The packaging is superb, and the fluid is a wonder in the sake world. When you want or deserve the best this King of the Peony is for you.
