It’s back and better than ever and if Beau made “Staff Picks” his name would be all over this Junmai Genshu with an 18% ABV. Rich, full-bodied, round, smooth, solid, and with old school Junmai sake confidence this brew drinks you as much as you drink it! There is a ton of umami with a tannin-like dryness and uplifting astringency that makes the fluid drink velvety and so balanced. Look for caramel, pie crust, King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, nougat, peanut, chocolate rice, soy sauce, sweet potato and banana flavors that roll across the palate. For this price you could buy a Daiginjo, but why? When you can have this flavor and feeling bomb that is balanced with luscious elegance in a glass.
