Hey You! Tap Tap on your shoulder. Are you a wine drinker? You are! Do you enjoy sake? You do! Well how would you like to try a sake that is made in a manner to appeal to your wine drinking ways? Sake and wine are different indeed, but they do have some similarities, and some sake brewers are trying to bridge that gap between wine and sake. Say hello to Tonoike Shuzo, and really cool sake brewery that has attended our SAKE DAY celebration for the last three years. They launched this line of “Bo” sakes at SAKE DAY to reach out to the wine world. And the result has been fabulous. This brew is as exciting and tasty as sake can get! Made with one of our favorite rice varietals “Omachi” milled to 50% it explores all of the acidity and fruity flavors that you would find in wine. It’s a New World type of sake making that is not only fun but also very delicious. Get you favorite white wine glass and this bottle of Bo together soon!
