“Baller Sake” – ZENRI from Kyoto “350 th Anniversary”
Zenri Iwai Junmai Daiginjo "350th Anniversary"
KYODENBITO (京伝人)
Kyoto craftsmanship, reimagined for a global audience
Derived from KYO (Kyoto), DEN (to convey), and BITO (people), Kyodenbito represents a new chapter from Tamanohikari Sake Brewery—an esteemed brewery with over 350 years of history in Fushimi, Kyoto. This modern offshoot brings the brewery’s legacy to a younger, more diverse, and international audience.
Introduced in June 2023 to celebrate Tamanohikari’s 350th anniversary, Zenri reflects both innovation and tradition. Crafted exclusively with Kyoto-sourced ingredients and brewed by local artisans, it expresses the region’s heritage with a contemporary sensibility. Bottled on the same day it is produced, Zenri offers remarkable freshness, with a light, refined effervescence reminiscent of champagne.
At its core, Zenri showcases Kyoto-grown Iwai rice and Fushimi water, creating delicate fruity notes balanced by gentle acidity. The result is an elegant, vibrant sake—refined, refreshing, and distinctly modern.
