The nose on this specially released Ohmine is a vast collection of melon, pear, peach, mint, oatmeal, lychee, honey, and mandarin aromas. We all know this exciting brewery from Yamaguchi, but do you know this product made with the very flavorful and exciting rice varietal called Omachi? Clean, smooth, slippery, viscous, plump, chewy, and mid-to-full bodied, this brew drinks with a little effervescence, and little tingle, and a little sweetness that rolls with a juicy acidity play. Look for mango, ripe pear, apple juice, tangerine, simple syrup, creamsicle, cotton candy, and sweet milk flavors that gush through the palate with cantaloupe and honey tea finish. Say hello to a richer and more plump version of Omachi sake from your favorite makers. First of all, the brewers at Ohmine Shuzo love doing their own thing,Ā and all of their brews drink with style, personality, and grace. So we were very excited for their efforts with one of our favorite riceĀ varietals called Omachi. They hit their 3 Grain Omachi out of theĀ park! Itās excellent, and a very classy version of Omachi thatās not to be missed. Soft, smooth, juicy, round, layered, expressive, lush, and silky with a dry finish makes this one of the most balanced Omachi sakes in the business. Look for nectarine, pear, apple pie, strawberry,Ā pineapple, blueberry, jackfruit, and green fig flavors that roll on a super light, gentle, and balanced flow with a low ABV of 13% that is easy and refreshing.
