The nose on this very tasty summer sake is a cool collection of green apple, cherry, papaya, pineapple, strawberry, jasmine, and berry aromas. This season’s "Summer Dear" is out of this world good sake that feels as good as it drinks. It has an extremely low amino acidity, uses Yamadanishiki brewing rice milled to 60%, and features their very flavorful “Harushika House Kobo” brewing yeast to make a sake that is as sunny as summer. Rich, semi-sweet, clean, smooth, medium-bodied, viscous, with an off-dry finish, behold the cool feeling of this brew. Look for ripe melon, sugar cane juice, blueberry, grape, and custard cream flavors that glide through the palate on an easy and gentle flow. The nose on this seasonally released summer unpasteurized brew is a glorious collection of green apple, pear, strawberry, honeydew, cherry, mango, and sweet rice aromas. Talk about a terrific summer Ginjo, this Harushika is all that and more! Juicy, slick, smooth, round, soft, and very velvety, the fluid is almost buoyant and balloons in the palate with smooth feelings and Ginjo goodness. Look for strawberry, apple, pear, mango, papaya, lychee, and sugarcane flavors that favor a white wine glass. Juicy, smooth, and lush, this is different from most of the clean, crisp, and dry summer brews, and should not be missed by fans of refreshing fruity brews.
