Sake Ambition – Just One Bottle of This AMBITION Dassai Masterpiece

We've sold a lot of sake in two decades on the job! And in all that time we have never “handled” a bottle quite like “Ambition.” It was flown frozen overnight from Narita Airport on JAL. Chris had the honor (it was his shift at the store), when it was delivered to True Sake, and he personally Uber’d it to our cold storage warehouse where it was placed in the freezer section of the cold storage. Basically the team at Dassai said that it can go in the fridge to achieve the same effect, as it is meant to be kept cold, and then served chilled. 

The bottom line is that this is the most pampered bottle of sake in the history of True Sake, and we are proud to keep the “conditioning” intact. Dassai recently made a bottle of sake in the International Space Station that sold for 110 million yen(approx $690,000). This Ambition represents one lucky enthusiast’s opportunity to taste a one of a kind brew that shares this creativity and unbelievable sake performance passion.

Dassai Ambition is an ultra-premium, limited-edition Junmai Daiginjo sake crafted from winning rice of the Yamada Nishiki Project, packaged in a unique titanium bottle, and preserved using a minus 30°C liquid freezing technique.

Tōmin Freezing: Employs a liquid alcohol rapid-freezing method at -30°C (-22°F) to lock in a fresh-squeezed taste until thawed for consumption.
