Welcome Home – True Sake Is Proud To Say Tonoike Shuzo Is Back In Stock

There are about ten breweries that are a MUST for True Sake. I don’t want to name names, but I feel the profound need to sell/offer these sakes to the Bay Area and the US market because they mean so much to the sake industry! The team totally understands my almost duty to have these brands on our shelves, and if I could put my face on the bottles for Staff Picks I surely would and would always. One brewery has been missing, but thanks to the good people at Sake Infinity, we are now back in stock with Tonoike Shuzo from Tochigi Prefecture. Owner Shige Tonoike is a sake dude through and through, and he works very hard for the international sake market. I appreciate the time, effort, and value that he places on the United States, and it’s my duty and honor to offer his killer brews to you.
Of course you remember our very own True Sake Select sake called “Bo” and I’m not the reason he named this line this name, although he did change the back labels to “Beau” for registration. (I said change it back immediately, ha ha!). A Toji who has titles from two Toji Guilds makes this Junmai Ginjo with local Gohyakumangoku milled to 55%. It is a killer addition to our True Sake Selection category of brews that can be sold to restaurants, but we have the exclusives for retail. A flavorful Junmai Daiginjo called Sai, and an amazing JDG called “Drop of Grace” compliment our Bo.
Tonoike is here for you! (You lucky ducks)
